My New Motto

I hope you woke up with a smile today because God has given you another day on this earth. Another day to bring glory to Him and joy to others. It really is a gift, people!! Our days on this earth are numbered, no matter who we are. And it’s our job to make the most of them.

And honestly, Wednesdays are the best ever. They are like the mountain in the middle of the week. You’re so close to Friday yet still have stuff to do. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but I adore Wednesdays.

Anyways, I wanted to share what’s been happening in my life recently. I have this new sense of urgency and it has caused me to start reaching out more. I know that my time in my high school is very limited and I will probably never see some of these people ever again.

And I heard this said once and it has always stuck with me,

“You must hate somebody so deeply to withold lifesaving information from them.”

Ouch, it still hurts. But it’s so so so true. We, as followers of Christ, have lifesaving news. We know that we have a home in Heaven. But what about the people who don’t know that news. The people walking through life without the knowledge we have been entrusted with?

Here is an example…

Say you just bought a car and you’re super excited about it. Everything looks great on the outside in brand new condition. The dealer hands you the keys and you hit the road.

What if the dealer knew the breaks didn’t work, and the moment you started your car you wouldn’t be able to stop until you ran out of gas… and he didn’t tell you before you drove off the lot? UMMMM YIKES!!!

It’s the same with this news we have been given. We have life-saving news yet we don’t share it with the people in danger. How cruel and mean is that? It’s as if the dealer said, “oh I’m sorry, you never asked if the breaks worked.” NOOO, we shouldn’t have to ask. Ugh, I’m very upset with this fake dealer I’ve created.

But honestly, this is my life. I walk through the halls of my school waiting for someone to come up to me and ask, “How can I get to heaven? How can I be saved? Teach me what you know about Jesus.” But that’s not the point. Our job on this Earth is to share the gospel to everyone… not just the people who ask.

And I get that I may be scaring some of you, but this is people’s eternal lives at stake. It is even more important than life and death. Because it deals with life after death. This deals with eternity.

And this new found, super awesome urgency I have been felling has caused me to crush the soft cozy walls of my comfort zone. It has been amazing!!!!

I want this for all of you! It is so hard to break down the walls but there is a whole world out there. Don’t just stay in your bedroom and praise the Lord. Get up and share it with people. The world needs your joy, the world needs your peace, and the world needs your lifesaving news.

So here is that new motto I promised you:

Existing to make Heaven more crowded

It’s our job. It’s our responsibility. It’s the reason why we are on the Earth.

XOXO, The Christian Prepster
