Sharing the good news

“How lovely on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who announces peace and brings good news of happiness, who announces salvation, and says to Zion, “Your God reigns!””
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭52:7‬ ‭NASB‬

As school begins and believers all around prepare their defense for  that one classmate who loves to “grill them” with questions and statements that make the believers frazzled, God is sitting on his thrown preparing the believers path through the school.

I think we forget that God has already gone before us and that we only have one job: share the good news!

I have found the key to sharing the good news is to be intentional. In order to achieve that boldness that we need to share the gospel.  We need to start or days with quiet time (devotionals, prayer, worship). Believe me, it really gets your mind and heart on track to face the day and gives you that boldness.

Intentionality can be easy! You just need some like-minded people who will pray with you and for you, as you step out into your mission field (school). We aren’t called to fit in and,”stay in the boat”. We have been called out to share the gospel with the kid who people make fun of and the kid who is making fun. As long as you have people in prayer, including yourself, and you are seeking the kingdom, the intentionality will follow!

Challenge: bring you Bible to school and read it whenever you have free time.

  1. High School is a big step, but sounds as if you are certainly prepared for it! Your faith and strength will guide you on the right path. In those tough moments always remember you have me and hundreds of “prayer warriors” praying for you! You are one amazing young lady!
