As of right now, I am reading “The Happy Christian” by David Murray. I cannot go into great detail about it ( a book review will be coming soon) but, David Murray has created an informative piece with the perfect balance of scientific and Biblical facts.
Stasi Eldredge has a voice for encouraging and inspiring girls. Although I have only skimmed through her book, I can already tell that “Free to Be Me” will change my mind set. If you aren’t hooked by that statement alone, then I suggest you read the back cover. I look forward to reading all the Stasi has to offer and sharing it with my peers.
Having spent around five years of my life inside of a dance studio in ballet shoes and the occasional tap shoes, I guess you can say that the art of dance still holds a place in my heart. I dreamed of becoming a soloist at NYCB ( New York City Ballet) just like Jenifer Ringer. Once I saw that she had written a book about her life in ballet as a christian, I had to purchase it. “Dancing Through It” has given off the impression of an inspiring memoir…also known as my favorite types of books to read. 🙂
I am so excited to read this book! I have read many reviews in regard to this book and all have been outstanding. This is the classic, everyone’s favorite, “underdog story”. “Nine Americans and their epic quest for gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics.” “Boys on the Boat” will, most likely, make me want to join a rowing team in addition to re-reading this book around fifty times.
I know this sounds cliche but, this summer looks like it will be a summer to remember. From my spiritual walk with the Lord, friends and family, and my reading list, this summer will be great.
