Future Husband

futurehusband

For as long as I can remember, I have loved the thought weddings, being married, the dress, the ring, and the perfect couple. I always had “that list” of the attributes that I wanted in a husband but after the Purity Ball at my church, I decided to write them down. (I can’t believe I never thought of it before!) Here is my list (so far)

  1. Believer of God (of course)
  2. Parent approved
  3. Patient
  4. Kind
  5. Wise
  6. Slow to get angry
  7. Loving
  8. Strong
  9. Servant’s heart
  10. Calm
  11. Joyful
  12. Faithful
  13. Humble
  14. Provider
  15. Supportive
  16. Family Man
  17. Thankful
  18. Noble
  19. Peaceful
  20. Intelligent
  21. Hard worker
  22. Witty
  23. Works well with kids
  24. Has boundaries
  25. Cherishes Me
  26. Easy Going
  27. Can be serious (sometimes)
  28. Goal oriented
  29. Wants to grow in his faith
  30. Kind to others
  31. Respectful
  32. Loves me for me
  33. Responsible
  34. Helpful
  35. Willing
  36. A Gentlemen
  37. Bibliophile
  38. The pursuer

Weddings are so exciting for girls. I love how we all dream about them. It’s one of the only “fairy-tale” moments in our lives. I bet that over 75% of the female population that has a pinterest, has a wedding board (I know that I do)! I can’t wait to meet my future husband, thinking and praying for him is one of my most favorite things to do. I hope this post gets you thinking about what you want in your future husband.

XOXO, The Christian Prepster
